I only brought 1 pair of shoes. and the further we got on the trail, the more muddy it got. eventually it was too hard to avoid.

1.25 mile hike with 905ft of elevation clime to get to this amazing view that lets you see to the other side of the island.
it is amazing how the landscape and fauna change along the hike.
Iao Valley Needle... The Phallic stone of Kanaloa, Hawaiian God of the Ocean. Also where the son of Maui's Cheif made his last stand against King Kamehameha but was defeated by the King's use of western weapons.
